Column – You know me, my marketing brain is never off. Not even when doing odd jobs around the house. Actually, marketing is just like a house; there are always things to improve. But when do you do what and how do you prioritize? I wrote a column about it for you.
Single glazing and loose skirting boards
Together with my family I live in a 1960s house. And what do you think of? Exactly, a lot of work. Because, uninsulated wooden floors and roof, single glazing and here and there some cracks in the walls.
We do a lot of odd jobs in our free time, but in addition to the necessary adjustments such as insulation, it is often also about the visual aspect. For example, the walls have already been in different shades and the floor has been replaced. The eye also wants something.
Recently I renovated one of the attic rooms. From uber boring and all white, we transformed the room into a nice home office. Okay, it became a combination of a home office, laundry room, guest room and storage, because we don’t live that big.
Anyway, it was simply a change in wishes. Previously I hardly ever worked from home and now I do. And a boring environment doesn’t even stimulate my creative brain. So let’s get to work. I told my colleagues about the DIY project and they rightly remarked: “Are you doing DIY again?!” Uh, yes. But yes, a house is never finished. There are always optimizations. And that is exactly what I like to compare with the use of marketing.
Recently I spoke to a colleague about her client. email data A brainstorm revealed that we could still make a big step in measuring all conversions and customer paths. The basis was fine, but even more insight would make her work easier and better.
Website as a functional attic
“Yes, but I can’t imagine that with the client?” she said, because in her eyes that meant that she hadn’t been able to do her job sufficiently all that time. Because actually she had already been able to measure it so well in detail.
So I didn’t agree with her.
Because I see it as my home. We first Zašto postoji potreba za CRM sistemom u B2B kompanijama tackled the basics at home and made everything nice and tidy. In the attic room we could work, wash and store things just fine, but it wasn’t by lists great yet. We consciously chose that, because all our time and attention went to the rest of the house. Until we had more time to optimize and change the wishes. Then it was the attic room’s turn for the optimization.
